Palin Interview: Like Trying To Fake A Foreign Language |
|
Edited on Thu Sep-11-08 11:39 PM by stopbush
Ever made a trip abroad to a country that doesn't speak English, so you make a half-assed attempt to learn a few phrases in that language to "help" you get by?
Never works too well.
Here's the problem - while you're busy learning the way to say "where's the bathroom" and "how much are the truffles," you're NOT prepared to understand the answer from the native when their reply fails to parrot the exact words that appear on your cheat sheet, or that were uttered on that CD-R course you purchased the week prior to your trip.
And therein lies the problem for Sarah Palin as she attempts to FAKE her way through interviews on foreign policy, the economy and anything else that a QUALIFIED candidate would know off the top of their heads.
Guess what, Sarah? The entire VP/presidency is Greek to you!
Once Sarah has failed her "orals" for the VP slot, she can hie herself to the nearest medical college where she can attempt a similar effort at faking her way through anatomy and medical prescriptions. Or, perhaps she could take a trip to France where she can convince the French that she's "the most-knowledgeable person in France' when it comes to the intricacies of their marvelous language.
At least she'd do less damage as a fake doctor or a fake French expert than she would as a fake president.
Bonne chance, asshole!

1. They don't even know what she doesn't know! |
|
How can they train this seal? They don't even know how much she doesn't know - like I bet all of her tutors skipped right past the Bush Doctrine cause who would imagine she didn't know what that was?

8. Clearly, John McCain failed the first test of his presidential campaign |
|
John McCain failed the first test of his future presidency. He chose a vapid inexperienced screwball religious extremist because his base is not behind him, but they sure are behind her. Now, he's hiding behind her apron strings because he has nothing at all to offer the country. He comes across on the TV screen like a very creepy version of the Wizard of Oz after Toto pulled away the curtains.
She is not ready to be a heartbeat away from the president, yet McCain chose her for his VP. He failed miserably at his first test. It's as simple as that.
