Gas goes up 40 cents in one hour...Surprising Story From Gas Pumps |
|
I noticed platic bags over the handles at many gas staions this afternoon. Thought I'd better pull in and at least fill up for the weekend ..just in case... I was on 1/4 tank. Good 'ol boy next to me with Ford F-350 and Horse Trailer on back ... told me they had just posted the new price, $3.55 to $3.95 in one hour! He looks over at me and says... "you know what I think?" I'm thinking... " oh great.. here comes the Fundy Republican Kool Aid Acid Test" Surprisingly, he says..." John McCain and that Alaskan Oil Company Whore can kiss my ass.. and I will freeze in hell before I vote Republican." Could have knocked me over with a feather! You can't get a more honest report from the front lines of America... this is a real No-Spin zone here.. LOL

11. THIS IS GREAT FOR US..................... |
|
I HAVE SEEN THIS HAPPEN IN THE CHICAGO AREA..... .IT WILL REINVIGORATE THE DEBATE ABOUT THE HIGH GAS PRICES.......SCARE PEOPLE INTO THINKING ABOUT MC CAIN AND HIS OIL FRIENDS..MORE IMPORTANT THAN QUITE A FEW OTHER ISSUES...THAT IS A 10 PERCENT INCREASE IN ONE HOUR...AND PEOPLE WERE THINKING GAS WAS GOING DOWN..EVEN IF IT DOES......THEN..THE FEAR WILL BE THERE..COULD WIN THE ELECTION FOR US.........

I hear gas rose $2 overnight in Tennessee. :x
But thanks for your report from the field. I've actually been thinking about calling my mother to talk with her about the McCain/Palin ticket. Lifelong Republican, but I'm hoping her common sense (which is usually quite good) will allow her to either vote for Obama or sit this election out. Thanks for giving me hope that she might have already decided this on her own!

14. It's a sign the oil companies are throwing the towel in |
|
I thought it more than a little suspicious that gas prices were miraculously going down by so much in the weeks leading up to the election. Cynics might conclude it was part of the GOP's overall strategy: throw a bone to the suckers and take the edge off their collective anger before November. And it was working.
I now believe the corporate goons are seeing the handwriting on the wall. Sarah Palin is rapidly losing her luster, John McCain is running out of lies and the voters are catching on, and the entire economy is suddenly reaching critical mass. So they said to themselves, "WTF, it's over...let's just go back to screwing them and making as much money as we can while we can still get away with it.
