She doesn't know WTF she's talking about. She's obviously very naive and doesn't understand what our rights are. She's of the "please protect me" bunch. Oh, but she wants smaller gov't too. Okeydoke. She annoys the hell out of me if you can't tell!
edit: grammar

5. LOL . . . was wondering if you saw that |
|
Here's what I sent to EH, Joy and Barbara (no email option for Rosie). I was actually very, VERY restrained:
I would ask that Elisabeth’s repeated reference to the “fringe” left be addressed. The episode with Sen. Schumer was the most recent reference to the “fringe” – Elisabeth asking if he feels the claim that this administration deliberately lied is indeed only a fringe idea.
I realize we shouldn’t live and die by polls, but there are consistent, reliable polls showing that, on average, 55% of the country now believe this administration DELIBERATELY MISLED this country into war.
This “fringe” argument needs to be discussed in more depth rather than it simply being a conservative talking point.
Also, with regard to Elisabeth’s repeated position that she is afraid…that security is her number one concern….that we’re at war….why then are you intentionally trying to bring another child into this scary place? You and your husband are both young and physically fit. I say to you, Elisabeth, what I say to anyone else who has continued to so vehemently support this administration and the war of choice in Iraq: why aren’t you over there giving one of our honorable men and women serving repeated tours a break? With your ideological beliefs, you indeed are best suited to be enlisted in this particular commander-in-chief’s armed forces.
I respectfully ask that all of these important issues be discussed to a degree that both sides truly have air time, including Elisabeth, not in 10-second quick summaries. I do recognize that your time is limited, but perhaps you can start committing one segment to a full discussion of one political/social issue at a time and discuss it more thoroughly from both perspectives.
Thank you for your time, and thank you for sharing your views.

6. "The stream is swift," said the fox to the gingerbread man. |
|
"Here -- hop on my nose and I'll carry you across to the other side."
And that gingerbread man became the fox's morning snack.
I'm not familiar with this woman, but I don't like her politics much. "Trust" isn't something the Bush administration inspires in me, dating back to their theft of a presidential election, twice, and even less so after this past week.

but at one time, she actually told the Senator he was wrong.
Had I been him, I would have stopped all conversation and looked her straight in the eyes and said "EXCUSE ME, BUT WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ANYTHING"
