This guy stole money in the hundreds of millions of dollars and it's no secret. His thievery affected the Houston economy and pension funds all over the USA. It took years to bring the suspect and associates to trial. He didn't live to see a verdict, but his successor did get 24 years. His victim count is in the tens of thousands. They lost their jobs, savings, and pensions and got nothing.
Lloyd Blankfein, CEO of Goldman Sachs
This guy (and corporate counterparts) will steal money in the billions of dollars and it's no secret. His thievery affects the whole US economic system. He likely won't go to trial, much less see prison. His victim count is in the millions. The US government (i.e. the taxpayers) will likely have to repair the damage. It'll take years to assess the damage.
