Did John McCain have a stroke? |
|
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 07:18 PM by djkevvy
Seriously, look at his right side, and listen to how he slurs his speech, namely the word "billion". Should America be worried? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22425001/vp/26886182#26886182

3. It is so funny that you would say that. |
|
I had asked that very thing of my husband yesterday while watching him on tv. I mentioned that one eye looks very different from the other and it didn't look that way before.

4. yeah, thom hartmann discussed this a bit this morning |
|
as well as other DUers did yesterday (just saying, not criticizing). I think he's either exhausted or has had another little TIA (transient ischemic attack). I remember hearing that he had something like that before but have no link to back it up so take it with a very small grain of salt.

5. but did you listen to what he said... |
|
... he would rather build a bridge to nowhere..than to line WallStreet pockets, or something to that effect,
and then,
something to the effect, "if I'm going to have anything to say about it, I'm not going to have a say...?"
Stroke, definitely, of one kind or another.

|
There's 500 things that could cause the face droop, most of which aren't very serious, but many of which are the result of age. The guy just seems tired.

7. He most certainly suffered numerous strokes |
|
OF STUPIDITY in the past ten days! As to an actual stroke it is not unlikely given his age and the incredible demands of a presidential campaign. If only he would release his medical records that may shed some light on the situation.

will happen anymore. But what a poor choice McCain made.

25. I honestly wonder if McCain isn't thinking of dumping Palin and going with Romney. |
|
I mean how can he not be thinking of ditching her.
I just saw the interview with Couric (or parts of it) and I've decided I cannot watch the VP debate because it would just be too painful to watch.

person would go along with it? What is wrong with her? Seriously! She was a big fish in a little pond. She should have stayed in that little pond.

Worried that he will be elected.... Worried that something will indeed happen to him, and...... Worried about who his VP is who will replace him as President!
Worry, worry, worry.....yes, worry very much.... :scared: :hide:

I definitely believe that the melanoma on his left temple has returned.
It may have already spread to nerves on the left side of his face (accounting for the drooping eye), maybe even his brain.
But, I think he wants to be President so badly that even if he dies the day after he is sworn in ... that will be fine with him.
I think that also may be why his campaign is messing around with ways not to debate -- can he even stand up for an hour and a half?

19. Does anyone get the feeling that something big is about to go down? |
|
I'm not talking about the economy. When in history has a presidential candidate STOPPED campaigning like six weeks before an election? There is something wrong with John McCain. I'm not sure what it is, but something is about to be announced or something is about to go down. Duckie

23. A stroke on the left side of the brain could affect speech, and also |
|
the right side of the body. I suppose anything is possible - his right eye does look a little droopy; he does slur a bit; and he's acting dumber'n a bag of hammers.

I think the main reason he wants to bail on the debates is because his advanced age will be much more evident.

No way it could have been hidden from the media. He would have been out of it for a few weeks at minimum.
There are other reasons to account for slurred speech.
