My bet, mccain won't debate tonight, and palin will not debate either |
|
In fact my bet is that while Obama and mccain might hold their two remaining debates
palin won't debate period

1. Can you blame her??..ctxt |
|
after seeing some clips of her with katie couric...if i was in charge there is no way i would let her on tv in a debate...my 10 year old could beat her...completely embarrassing..either they drop her and replace with someone else or they keep the lid on her until the election..she is a joke and every exposure of her solidifies that opinion

5. I think he will debate, but he'll suck and say," Well... |
|
I was so busy working on the financial crisis, I couldn't study!"
He'll try to make Obama look like a schoolboy. What other tactic does he have left?
He can't not show up, and have the entire country watching Obama answering questions brilliantly.
He needs to be on the screen.
I don't think Palin will debate, though.

6. yep-- that's my sense too.... |
|
Palin is a walking disaster in any situation that actually demands substance. She's a living sound bite-- all image, nothing else. They're going to keep her as firmly under wraps as they can. If she does debate, the format will be so tightly managed that all she'll do is read prepared answers to scripted questions, but I doubt they'll even risk that much.
Not that any of that will affect the true believers, especially the "base" that doesn't yet understand that their relationship with the republican party is like that of cattle with the herdsman. They do his bidding, only to go under the knife when he gets hungry.
