Why was Wamu allowed to fail on a Thursday? |
In every other bank failure, the Feds waited until Friday. It was done to let the markets calm down over the weekend. Could it be they are no longer concerned about the markets? Are they more concerned with keeping the pressure on Congress then saving our economy? Before the Democrats sign onto this bill, they should take a hard look at what happened in todays market.

7. I read that they said word leaked out about the coming seizure on Friday |
They wanted to assure depositors that everything was safe rather than let depositors go crazy due to rumors.
