Give Jack Cafferty his own freaking show!
Boy I'd like to see him move to MSNBC one day and get his own show preceding KO and Maddow.....Olbermann, Maddow, and Cafferty are probably the last three in the MSM with a backbone.

4. Here you go
"If John McCain wins, this woman will be one 72-year-old's heartbeat from being POTUS. And if that doesn't scare the hell out of you it should."

9. He would be the Lewis Black of Cable News
I'm serious. that Mad Money guy has made a great niche for himself. A show with some curmudgeon attitude would probably be fresh for awhile. It would be a smart move for CNN.

It would probably get tiresome, but he could give it a nice run for a year.

11. He can be right on BUT
maybe just not yet, though he is sharp and caustic no matter what his opinion of the day is.

He is weathering some pretty severe personal crises (driving incident aftermath, death of wife), which may mean he is not quite ready for Prime Time. He is a good cleansing note to Wolfie and because that show gets a fairly wide viewership in Cable Land, he is in a good place -- for now.

He can be erratic, but he seems to truly respond to sentiments via EMail -- so keep on sending good one liners to him.

13. Excellent
He did what free journalists are supposed to do. Government is government. The free journalist is supposed to investigate government as government, reporting their findings to the people. Too many journalists today exercise false objectivism by simply giving different political factions equal opportunity to push their government agendas.

The fact our journalists are starting to do their jobs again (after 8 long years), is a very good sign.

17. He used to be on the morning show & on the weekend "In the Money" show.
Now he is relegated to 2-3 five minute spots during Blitzer's show.

That doesn't answer your question exactly, but he did have a bigger on-air presence in the past. As the Iraq war went badly, Jack began to speak out against the boosh administration & CNN has slowly decreased his air time.

full time show....A weekly talk show skewering of the other talking heads would be fun....
