Where is the abyss I keep being warned about? |
|
Where is it? We have certainly had worse weeks in the stock market. Oil prices haven't gone through the ceiling. We haven't been attacked. My credit card and debit card worked ok today. I know we have a severe problem with the basic economy in this Country but when I hear J. McC and Joe L. and GWB all talking about the abyss, I begin to wonder...maybe, just maybe they've exaggerated a bit. Bush has controlled the timing on this and now McCain seems to be controlling the politics. I'm beginning to smell a rat. Tell me why I'm wrong.

4. If they actually enact some bills that go towards JOB creation and |
|
protect American consumers, increase min wage to a living wage.. The economy would automatically jump start.. Credit would flow because risks decrease when people have money to pay their bills.. this is about protecting few and a structure of NO rules and DESTROY the middle class project going straight ahead..

6. The Credit Markets Shut Down This Week... |
|
Corporate money and large accounts are fleeing banks and going into T-Bills, which is killing the banks.
Equity markets will continue to crash whenever a bailout rejection becomes official.
If you don't see the abyss, you don't have your eyes open!

you fall for awhile when you step off an abyss - but the landing is what kills you.
If there is an abyss you may not notice until prices sky rocket and if you work you don't get paid at the end of the week because the company can't get the money to meet their payroll requirements. On the other hand there may be no abyss. If we don't do anything we will find out over the next year what the impact is.
