9. Levels

Hi Fran, Im Nan and am new to DU. Can you (or anyone reading this) describe what 'levels' are? I am enjoying reading these post's very much. Thank's, Nan.

10. Levels are...

A series of stages when in high traffic situations that certain aspects of the website go down to conserve bandwidth. Last night was stage 2, most of the past week has been already in stage 1. One removes personal headlines and taglines, etc. Two removed the homepage and all stage one things.
