Sure, all the screamers on CNBC and Faux are going to be for this, hell, it's what those who sign their paychecks want to go through.

But the fact of the matter is that US Treasury Bonds are already being downgraded just on the possibility of this bailout <http://financialtrader.com/Bond_Investor.html> Furthermore, those with the money in foreign markets apparently realize what a con job this bailout is, and are getting out.

Oh, hey, did you see that little clause in the bill that has the US Treasury forming an insurance pool to provide full coverage for these MBS'? Hmmm, I wonder who Paulson will go through for that:idea: Oh, yeah, the government's own AIG will work just fine. Sure, corporations will be paying in premiums, but the basis for those premiums is completely unknown, since nobody knows had bad those toxic papers are. Therefore we'll be insuring a pig in a poke, and the US taxpayer will ultimately be on the hook for the rest.

But sure, Orman, Kramer, all the screamers and shouters like this plan. They're getting paid to like this plan. What's your excuse?
