Could we NOW, please have some real experts in some REAL hearings |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-29-08 01:39 PM by SoCalDem
who could offer some practical and realistic solutions?
We have heard the bloviations from "Opie, the congressman"...Boner, the crybaby....The male Sarah Palin (Cantor), Nancy, Steny, Harry, et al...
It's time now to have some real live economists in some serious hearings so the public can find out what's really going on.
We also need to have Greenspan, Bernanke & Paulson under oath...and answering some tough questions..
The White House-way and the House-way have been tried and they have failed..
Time to get "real"..

1. Yes, I think they need the economists come out and say what |
|
they think about this whole thing. We need a second opinion.

2. And we need people who are qualifed to fix the mess |
|
since it seems like the people who want to clean it up are the ones who caused it in the first place. All this talk of eight-figure salaries and golden parachutes--anyone who's qualified and will settle for, say, a quarter of a million dollars should get the gig.
