I hear "Blackberry" Holtz-Eakin on MSNBC saying the speech did it. How?

Sorry to be ignorant, but my head is spinning here.

1. Oh man, is that who that hairy little twit was?

David Shuster was yelling at him. LOL

I still haven't heard Pelosi's remarks, so I dunno. But my guess is that they weren't going to vote for the bill anyway, but now they can blame the Dems for its failure to pass.

2. Nancy hurt their feelings. Except, that's bs. The Republicans
running for re-election don't want to vote for this and they were going to blame Nancy, Obama and Democrats no matter what.

3. That's it?...........
I figured it was something like that. The house 'pubbies want the democrats to own this crisis.

Sound like some folks need to wipe their noses and do their fucking jobs!

4. Yep, the party of "personal responsibility" strikes again!
Nancy didn't make any missteps they could point to, so they had to go with partisanship and hurt feelings.

6. I saw it as a catch-22..............
Dems would have been painted as the bad guys no matter how this rolled.

And it pisses me of that I'm not seeing *one* Democrat on the News Mix channel and all of a sudden, SARAH BARBIE PALIN is the topic of the day.

8. It didn't. This is a normal negotiating strategy (or tactic, same thing).
You never buy on the first offer. The Republicans are granstanding. And they are doing it quite well, IMO.

If only Democrats understood how these things work.
