Great news from my brother re. Obama... |
|
He's a recovering meth addict...spent years in all sorts of trouble but has been making an effort to turn his life around. Six months ago, he was making borderline racist, disparaging remarks about Obama. But today, I received this in my e-mail box (edited for focus):
"Hey - I just wanted to say that I thought Obama kicked some ass. Listening to him speak motivated me and <snipped> to register to vote. She's never voted in her life and its been 16yrs since I voted.
The more I hear from Obama the more I like him. He the most level headed, cool personality I've seen in along time now. I see what people like about him. I loved his response to McCain bragging about the SURGE - "hey john, you act like the war started last year..."
All I can say is GOOD ON YA BRO!

4. Yep. And this speaks loudly to Obama's ability to flip even the |
|
most stubborn voters - he just needs to be out there, on the stump, exposing more and more people to his ideas.

and eventually hit the wall -> hard. But things are looking up again.

7. Washington state. Not the "swingiest" of states...but still :-) |
|
We're squarely in Obama's corner, but every vote counts.

8. Washington will go for Obama in the General, but I worry that Rossi may have a chance |
|
to unseat Chris Gregoire in the gubernatorial. Washington is just barely blue, and there is lots of solid red on the county and precinct maps...

Rossi commericals are hitting hard, heavy and frequently..and I've only just recently begun to see Gregoire ads. I'm a little worried about Burner, too.

10. Rossi is such a weasel. I am disappointed that we are not |
|
seeing more Gregoire commercials. She cannot take it for granted that she will win.
