I just got the coolest protective shield for LED (camera, computer, phone)
This is a product based on technology developed for the leading edge of helicopter rotor blades.

Depending on model, this shield can either cover the entire body of a device (video camera, digital camera, CrackBerry), or just the screen (I-Pod, flip phones, laptop).

You simply apply it and let it dry overnight.

You cannot scratch it with a knife.

I bought one for my new camera for $25. It also makes for a better grip on the camera.

Finally, we get something we can all use, courtesy of taxpayer dollars spent on R&D.

Check it out...

5. Toddlers are to be put into a barrel with a tight lid and a small hole for feeding
When they turn 18 years old plug up the hole.

3. IMO this stuff should be standard on products if it works as advertised..
Everything I own has at least one scratch on it.

4. It works.
I tried scratching it with everything except a diamond (I had to draw the line, somewhere).

It is tougher than stainless steel.

I am going to put it on everything I can.

10. I did better than that.
I scrubbed it against a chunk of basalt.

Nada.

I have never seen anything like it. Maybe I will order a screen-size one (heck, those are only $12), put it on a piece of scrap granite (left over from my kitchen counter-top), and try a diamond on it.

I'll get back to you if I get around to it.

9. It comes with this wetting solution.
The pieces are die-cut to fit wahtever Model of whatever you are apply it to.

You simply peel off the piece, spray the adhesive side and the back side, place it on the surface, and use the little squee-gee (provide) and let it dry.

I don't think you could get it off with a blowtorch and a jack-hammer.

The stuff is phenominal.

There is a video at the site.

8. I bought something similar for my iPhone
and the touch screen didn't work. So I took it off. I guess this is a different product?

11. I don't think you could get this stuff off if you tried.
I know it works on BlackBerry and othe touch-pad devices.

And it lets me use the various buttons on my camera.
