It could still be a very tough chore ...
to move these 95 Democrats and 140 Republicans to the side of the "bailout" or whatever it is called today? I think the Democrats are not moving any further. The 10 or 12 votes that are needed will have to come from the hyper election-conscious Republicans. That will not be an easy task.

Furthermore, when they start debating the "add-ons" to the bill, there is the likelihood that it will only make it more difficult, rather than making it easier to pass. In fact, a few Democrats could drop off in their support of the bill if some ill-advised tax-cuts are added to the bill. Thursday may be much more difficult than anyone thinks at the moment?
