Tax Cuts in Bail Out plan ? - Its a Scam Folks
So they tried to sweeten up Bush's bill with the Cap on Min Tax Rate and buried a Tax Cut for the Wealthy and Corporations deep within the language of the Bill.

Do these people think were stupid. 65% of ALL American Corporations don't pay any Taxes. This is just a Bill to have Main St. pay for Wall St.'s mistakes

We are talking about Giving Wall St $700 Billion AND a Tax Cut

Call your Senators Folks - Its time for a Tax Payer Revolution

4. That only happened because not enough Democrats got on board
and it became necessary to appeal to Republicans.

The Dems dropped the ball- and it cost them.

6. Yeah, right

The Dems made a big mistake in this case, and that was one of the results. They could have passed a bill without any Republicans on board if they had the political courage to do so.

8. If credit markets freeze ups cause the situation to spiral out of control
Edited on Wed Oct-01-08 06:15 AM by depakid
Congress will get some blame for sure- and deservedly so.

They're playing a game of Russian roullette here with everyone's jobs and livelihoods.

If you can't see that, you haven't been reading or understanding what the credit markets do and why they're so vital.

9. The public is still overwhelmingly against the bill.
Sorry, we're not buying this bad deal.

Action is needed, but it doesn't involve handing over more of our money to the banks.

11. When the first companies' payrolls fail, then people will learn
Edited on Wed Oct-01-08 06:23 AM by depakid
Some of course will stay willfully ignorant until their company's payroll fails.

Try doing a little research about how it works and why we need to act. NOW.

There's are couple of good threads on the board at the moment that tell you much of what you need to know.

btw: I ain't happy about this either, but I agree completely with what Obama had to say yesterday- and he said that DESPITE the fact that people don't understand what's at stake and don't support prompt action.

15. Then they will demand that the government step in..
and provide loans to creditworthy businesses.

A much better solution.

13. "credit markets" only freeze if people freeze them. They're not forces of nature
or implacable gods that must be sacrificed to. If people freeze them, they can unfreeze them & work on a better solution. If there's political will.

Political will is created by PEOPLE BITCHING.
