What I've learned from the constant running of the Couric interviews
Palin is so fucking annoying that I want to scream. She makes my ears bleed. Fingernails on a blackboard. Bullshit folksiness. Yes, shrill (Look it up. In this case it is appropriate and not sexist.)

She is also insubstantial and incurious.

And she may well the biggest political bullshit artist to turn up in a long, long time.

"I didn't mean Joe Biden is old. It wasn't an insult" Yeahsureright

"I read everything put in front of me." Uhuh, but when pressed by another insubstantial twit (Couric) you couldn't even name the fucking magazine that had your fucking mug on it????? Kiss my ass.

Her fake folksiness (Can I buy a "G", please?) may be the biggest stack of bullshit. Who the fuck buys this crap? Just the low information mouth breathers, I suspect.

She is ceasing to be funny.

She is now frightening and angering.

Frightening in the sense that she coujld be the veep to a 72 year old, ill health president who is likely to die in office.

Angering because of the clear reasons she was picked in the first place. it is a true insult to the nation.

Just how fucked up *are* we?

19. I'm Pretty Much There Too
But, i have one thing:

Have you or any other DU'ers heard any explanation as to why the mayor of Wassila is a full time job? I live in a town of 5400, and the mayoral post is a part time job. The guy is a plumber for his real income.

So, if her mayorship was supposed to be executive branch experience, and it's only a part-time job, why isn't someone pointing that out? And, if she was doing it as a full time job, wouldn't that mean she was doing it wrong?

2. I wish the Dems would start emphasizing mcsame's judgement in
choosing palin as his running mate. Doesn't palin realize she's being used? If she ever figures it out, and maybe she won't considering her demonstrated reasoning ability, she'll end up a very depressed recluse.

4. Their relationship is either symbiotic or mutually parasitic.
I suspect it is the latter.

She is where she is and that is **all** that matters to her.

8. I suspect they have that narrative ready to go...
Just as soon as Biden does a Jack Russell Terrier on her ass in their debate.

There is no good way she can come out of that unscathed. She just doesn't have the mental horsepower to run with Biden for longer than a minute or two.

23. I suspect the same...I'm just anxious! She will not emerge from the
debate as anything but a fool. Her ego has allowed herself to be used.

3. She never answers the question, either.
She just greases around it implying both sides and never says what she really thinks or confirms what she knows. I suspect that she actually knows very little if anything. McCain-Palin is the ticket of Bitter and Brainless. F them. Dems will win in November.

5. If she answered the question she would have to answer another question "why"
Once you let the stupid out of the bag with a "why" there's no putting it back in I'm afraid.

7. She looks more and more like a female George Bush.
Inarticulate, incurious, insensitive to the needs of others, insulting, uninformed, etc.

Do people not see the resemblance? Can't they look past the lipstick and see that she's more of the same?

10. People have called her Cheney with a skirt and there is something to that
but she is also Bush with lipstick. Incurious George morphs into Incurious Sarah. Slightly easier on the eyes but not really any less grating or infuriating. The master of low expectations has been replaced with the mistress of low expectations. Bushisms morph into Palinisms. I hope the American psyche gets that because if it does, it will run screaming from Evita Mooselini. I'm still able to watch her just because she is such a parody, though Tina Fey is quite a bit better, but I know the day will come (soon) where I won't be able to listen to her mindless drivel any more than I can pResident Fucktard.

15. Anyone else noticed?..Her voice is like Eeyore in Disney's Winnie the Pooh.....
Every phrase...it starts on a high note and then falls at the end. Kind of like the braying of a donkey. No kidding! Listen for it. (Don't know how to characterize it in print.)

And yes...that fake folksy dropping of the Gs. The chimp does that, too. Reminds me of a kindergarten teacher reading to 5 year olds. It's condescending.

18. Palin Backlash
I share everyone's sentiments about Palin, but I think we need to be careful about piling on too much ridicule, especially in the media (e.g., Olbermann). There could be a sympathetic backlash if a perception develops that the left wing is being too hard on poor innocent Sarah.

20. That backlash hasn't happened yet.
I don't think that many are attempting to ridicule Palin, they're just showing her own words and her own record and then she ridicules herself just fine. It seems like the more people know about her, the less they like. So I'm all for exposing her for all to see. Thursday night is going to be a lot of fun.

Indeed, the OP signaled the swearing off of ridicule.
