It comes down to this:

TRUST!

And I don't trust these people, not a single one of them!, farther than I could throw them.

1. Nor should you - or any of us. Why is Obama going along with this bullshit?

5. I feel deeply disappointed.
Yes, I'll still vote for him. I probably won't donate as much to his campaign, though.

9. This may help you understand Obama's support for the bailout:

Financial industry big houses have contributed almost twice in funds to Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama in comparison to his Republican rival John McCain.

For both candidates, Wall Street's investment and banking sectors have become among their portliest cash cows...

"No matter who wins in November, Wall Street will have a friend in the White House," said Massie Ritsch of the Center for Responsive Politics, which crunched the data for The Daily News.

Barack Obama rakes in millions from law firms serving the interests of Wall Street, including the financial institutions that gave us the subprime lending crisis.

2. Amen!
If there is one thing my dear old departed dad taught his now old daughter, it was "never trust a fucking politician"

3. "This world hangs by a slender thread, Trust"
...by The Bears.

This world hangs by a slender thread, Trust
Wrapped up in a treacherous web, Trust
And one man pulls the string
bring down the whole damn thing

don't betray my trust

With a surgeons drawing lines on skin, trust
when you aboard the plane and strap yourself in.
its easy to understand we hold each others lives in our hands

don't betray my trust

4. There are a few politicians I trust. The majority I trust to always do the wrong thing.

6. If they don't trust one another, why should ANYONE trust them?
After all, that's what the overnight, interbank credit network is all about. That's what's constipated. Well, I know what they need for that constipation: One ENORMOUS suppository! The taxpayers' FOOT!

7. There have only been 2 politicians that I trusted 100%
Dennis Kucinich and Paul Wellstone.

Only one is still with us at this time.

8. I'm with you TexasExplorer!
I'm very disappointed Sen. Obama is going along with this Senate bill especally with it being loaded with tons of earmarks. I remember Paulson saying he wanted a clean bill.....far from it. If the Senate is hellbent on the bailout, why all the extra spending? Never mind.
