Is the worm turning, or is this a one-off from an opium den of liberal 'merica haters? I'd like to see more analysis based on facts and truth but will tune in to Air America, Nova M, and read The Nation until I know it's safe to come out of my tinfoil-lined opium den.

1. We've already reached the point at which

the world quite understandably may no longer trust further financial dealings with the USA for the foreseeable future. You get that woman in get the White House and they world might just stop talking to the USA too.

2. The world is not stuck on stupid. True

Outside the USA they get news stories with explanation like this, and more.
There is just as much pap and distraction, but facts are squeezed in as well.

Americans need to travel into other counties, societies, cultures I think.
