McCain's New Strategy Incites Violent, Racist Reaction
Are you proud, John McCain? This is your campaign. In your quest for power, you threw out your morals, your principle, your past disdain for low-ball gutter smears. And now we know the reaction it has incited.

Are you proud?

In New Mexico, you asked the crowd, "Who is the real Barack Obama?"

"A terrorist!" a voice in the crowd shot back, clearly getting the message from this weekend, when your running mate falsely said that Barack Obama had "Palled around" with a "terrorist" and "doesn't see America" the same way nice white Americans do.

Are you proud?

Your running mate, twice yesterday, got the reaction that can only be expected when you do everything you can do to peddle lies in an attempt to convince so-called "low information voters" that Barack Obama somehow doesn't fit in with the rest of us, and maybe even condones bombing American institutions.

1. When will the Dems finally condemn this shit?
It's only been going on for 8 years -- longer if you include RW hate-mongers like Limpballs. The resounding silence from the Dems on this matter angers me as much as the Repubs who encourage it.

3. They are engaging in violent radicalization of their knuckle-draggers and
hoping for some homegrown terrorism against Obama.

5. John McCain = George Wallace? Sounds like the Straight Talk Express
has taken a turn into the past. Maybe we can use this to generate a reverse Bradley Effect; spread the word that a vote for McCain is a vote for racism!

13. Close, but no cigar. McCain campaigned for George Wallace Jr.
Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 10:55 AM by hedgehog
Still, George Wallace Jr. apparently was pandering to raist groups as late as 2007 when McCain was palling around with him!

The National Democratic Committee released a statement Monday criticizing McCain for campaigning for Wallace. The release said Wallace has on several occasions spoken to the Council of Conservative Citizens, which has been classified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The group, which opposes interracial marriage, massive immigration of non-European and non-Western peoples, hate crime legislation and multicultural courses in schools, denies that it is a hate group.

6. Fuck him. He's irrelevent now. The 24 percenters are all he has left.
He doesn't even have 180 electoral votes anymore, according to today's electoralvote.com.

So yeah...he's been reduced to empty rhetoric about flags, gays and terra, because that's the only thing that people who still attend his rally's know.

Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 10:06 AM by LatteLibertine
you could see him cringe and have a "wtf" moment. Of course he let it go, and it would have been nice if he would have called that idiot on his idiocy.

12. MEDIA SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF ITSELF
for not covering this. This is huge and the Media WILL be COMPLICIT in the outcome of this hate speech. McCain and Palin's comments, prodding, lies and hate speech are ripping this Country apart at the seams. It is also dangerous to Obama, his family, the Democratic Party and others. Arrests should be made and the Repug ticket should be taken to court.

14. Palin's role is to lend legitimacy to the GOP racists, jingoistic, bigoted members.
She is their rallying point.

Sarah Palin is the living, breathing, backwoods, backwater, ignorant rightwing EMAIL that carries with it the vile ignorance and bigotry of unreconstructed secessionists and brownshirts in training.

15. That scene yesterday is disgusting to
say the least, its embarrassing that someone in NM actually did that. You can bet that in a City with plenty of Native Americans, where Hispanics are the majority and diversity is celebrated that won't play well outside that McKKKain rally.
