O'Reilly Dead Wrong About Palin Debate Bump

Friday night during the hour long Palin lovefest, called the O'Reilly Factor, Billy said Palin was a charismatic and enchanting rockstar, who wowed em in the debate, then he put two Republicans on who agreed with him, Laura Ingraham said all her e-mails about Palin started with WOW is she great, then Linda Chavez and Ingraham both compared her to Reagan.

O'Reilly also said Palins performance in the debate will give McCain a 3 point bump in the polls by tuesday.

Billy was wrong, there was no Palin debate bump. The Daily Gallup Tracking Poll for today has Obama at 51%, and McCain at 42%, which means he lost a point from yesterday. So not only did McCain not get a 3 point bump from the Palin debate, he lost 3 points over the last 3 days, and now Obama has a 9 point lead.

This shows how out of touch with reality O'Reilly is about Sarah Palin, it shows that the people can see what an unqualified right-wing moron she is, and it also shows how bad McCain is doing in his campaign. Yet O'Reilly ignores it all to declare her the winner of the debate, and even called her an enchanting charismatic rockstar who wowed em.

And hey folks, if you want to help Obama and oreilly-sucks.com at the same time, you can make a donation at my website. I will give 50% to the Obama campaign. I only have two $20 donations, so check out the website and make a donation while you are there.

2. "Laura Ingraham said all her e-mails about Palin started with WOW is she great"
Is she really expecting us to be suprised that she is getting ALL of this positive feedback about her. It's not like she's a legitimate news source. When you are only telling your listers one side of anything, are you telling me they are going to not parrot everything back to you.

3. It's the Big Lie methodology
The Gestapo invented it and the Republicans use it because they know so many of their supporters won't ever get that they are SOOOOO manipulated. Far be it from them to look up the facts.

5. Another day, another lie
So now it's okay to be an elitist, rock star politician? Gee, it was just a few weeks ago that that was supposed to be the Worst Thing Ever: a politician crowds actually liked.

9. O'Reilly Also Attacked Obama For Using His Own Advice
Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 03:31 PM by stewert
Last night in a segment on the factor with Juan Williams and Mary K. Ham, they talked about how McCain is going negative on Obama now. Which is what O'Reilly said McCain should do, he called it getting tough. Which is code in Republican world for go negative, start the dirty tricks and the personal attacks, while ignoring the real issues and use the distraction tactics.

At one point they talked about Obama running ads that compare McCain to Bush, O'Reilly then said something shocking, he said there is no comparison, that the ads are unfair, and there is no link between McCain and Bush.

Which is really odd, because about a week ago on 9-30-08 Billy wrote a Talking Points Memo where he gave some advice to McCain (Mostly McCain) and Obama, he said Obama should continue to link McCain to Bush.

Here is a direct quote from Bill O'Reilly.

The federal bailout, of course, is atrocious, the folks are very angry about it, and that anger is helping Obama.

So if McCain wants to win, he has to turn the anger around because it's not going away. He has to convince the folks that he will clean up Dodge City and his opponent will make things much worse. All Obama has to do is keep reminding voters that McCain is a Republican, just like President Bush.

O'Reilly tells Obama to link McCain to Bush one day, then a week later calls those ads that link them unfair, and says there is no link. He's a partisan right-wing nut, who can not even remember his own advice, who then hammers the guy for using the advice he gave him just a week earlier.

8. Pat Buchanan was Cherry Picking Polls This Morning
Claiming that the margin had narrowed from last Thursday.

The Problem was he compared TWO different polls. Apples and Oranges.
