11. Yes, they were swimming |
|
... but they've gone under now. They'll surface again. Either after bloating up into a deadly float or gasping for breath as they do.
Now if I knew what kind of surfacing were to occur, I'd make a cool million in the next few months or plan on going belly up myself. IOW, I'm just along for the ride, but what an exciting ride it is, eh?

Gee, investor confidence must be soaring!
So, when do all these financial geniuses (staring with "Hank" Paulson) come out and just own up that they don't have the foggiest fuck of a notion about what they're doing? Hell, I'm guessing, too, but I don't bet a trillion dollars of someone else's money on my guesses.

7. Every time there is a dollar to be made, hedge funds swoop down and grab it |
|
As long as all the vultures believe the party is still going on, they are in there playing the old games and grabbing up every single penny leaving companies picked over and gasping in the street.
Until the rules are changed and regulation is restored, the game won't change.

8. It would seem a good time to me |

but I am not an expert...to make hedge funds illegal. The government has stepped in and done things like that before.

12. Wall Street doesn't want hedge funds to be regulated or go away |
|
Which is the problem. Wall Street is wanting the US taxpayer to restore the system to its high flying ways so that they can continue the party. No one is even thinking about how to restructure Wall Street to play the game based on value. They want to continue the high stake casino all based on ponzi schemes.
