Unbelievable! The Today Show is doing a hit piece on Joe Biden, Saying He Isn't Really Middle Class. |
|
That is disgusting. He is one of the least wealthiest members of the Senate showing gross income of $320,000 between his salary, his wife's and his teaching fees.

What was that? They did something on Palin's finances the other day and never did they question her claim to be in the middle class. I cannot believe they did that.

Today = NBC = GE.
GE is a leader of the corporatocracy. The Today show is so far to the right it's not funny. This is entirely believable. Disgusting, but believable.

20. The real story is -- There is no middle class |
|
That's been done away with. There are the ultra-wealthy and there are the rest of us. Some of us have a little more money than others, but there is no middle class.
It's the Third World paradigm. Averages no longer make any sense. The people at the top have so much money that it skews everything.
As other people have explained, if Bill Gates walks into a neighborhood bar, the average income the bar patrons increases by about a billion dollars. However, everyone but Gates is still poor.

what is syphonned to the populace. The Today Show is the highest rated AM show.
Besides from their political crap, I find it mindless waking up crap pleasant. ie their cooking segments, celebrity interviews.
OMG! I sound like a masochist!

the guy commutes to Washington everyday, and he has spoke many times with voters and connects with them. BS on the Today Show, these are desperate measures taken by desperate men.
Biden my opinion is the best.

Median household income in the US is less than $50,000!
"That is disgusting. "
Isn't it more disgusting that ordinary people could never dream of elective office? :hi:

18. So none of the men and women in the Senate are middle class...why single out Biden? |
|
McSleeze and Snidekick are getting away with passing themselves off as regular joes, while Obama is branded "elitist" and Biden is branded "not middle class." The double-standard is infuriating.
Screw the corporate media, and The Today Show in particular.

In other words, he owes more than he's got. I believe part of that is college loans.

|
Edited on Fri Oct-10-08 08:52 AM by Canuckistanian
And Joe never claimed to be middle-class anyways. It's classic strawman bullshit.
But considering that Joe's net worth is negative, while Palin's is +1.2 million, it's doubly bullshit to imply that Biden is a dreaded "elitist".

|
He is *FROM* the middle class, and he has done well, moved into the upper income bracket. As a US Senator and all the connections to go with it, if he chooses to use them, he cannot be considered middle class.
It's okay. There's nothing wrong with earning $300k a year. Geeeez.
