What the fuck good does it do for the G8 leaders to meet with Bush? |
|
They're **all** smarter than he is.
They **all** more clearly understand what is happening.
They are **all** better equipped to deal with this than he is.
They **all** probably care more about people than he does.
What the fuck does **he** have to offer anyone?
Why do they all schlep over to his house? What they *need* to do is just smack the little shit around a little.

to wink at (assuming the rumor I heard is true that she'll be there).

6. I can't help but think they won't take much that we say seriously (regardless |
|
of who the heavy hitters are that Bush has with him.)
If we were financially/economically savvy, our nation wouldn't be gasping for breath right now. Why give much credence to the doctors that almost killed the patient, and are currently just barely keeping the patient alive (and who knows for how long?)
And, we're in so much debt, we surely couldn't pack the financial wallop we once did.
I've been perplexed for a while at the rest of the world's willingness to show us deference and play along with our delusional game. They know we're impotent.

Why the f*** should we trust any of these assholes?
Really: when have they put the people's interest first? Any of them?
So now after they have all presided over this debacle, after they have all participated in the Greed Is Good Grab-fest, we should let them meet again behind closed doors and "engineer" a "recovery" by writing "new rules". Oh I'm sure those "new rules" will be fair and equitable.
Yeah, sure, whatever.
Grrr...

10. They get a free vacation to wherever the meeting is. Just like the |
|
corporate fat cats and their one week yacht trips and pedicures and whatever.
