3. cool!!
Here's a crappy cell phone pic of my cut.

(for the uninitiated, a cut is the leather vest a biker wears with his or her patches, pins etc. on it)

4. Hey, Thom!
I've been lurking in the motorcycle group for a couple of weeks (can't post as my donor star has expired and I'm too poor to get a new one until next month.) I'm thinking about starting to ride. I'm in the UK so I can pretty easily get a learner permit (a.k.a. provisional licence) to ride 125cc bikes, then move on to the big fuckers at a later date after taking a week-long immersion course on 500cc bikes. Your posts in that forum have been really useful and very informative. So, thanks!

Thinking about getting a Triumph Bonneville when all is said and done. In the meantime thinking of getting a Chinese knockoff of the Honda 125cc to do the basic training. Unless you've got a better suggestion, that is. Genuine Hondas here tend to be quite expensive and I don't plan on keeping the thing for more than six months.

Anyway, again it's been great to read your posts in the motorcycle forum. I'm trying to do this as safely as possible and it's great to have input from experienced riders.
