"I'm not gunna let up. This is the kind of crap from the 60s that hurt us so badly"
Paraphrase of Matthews in a conversation with Buchanan speaking about the hatred being fomented by the McCain campaign and the shouts of "Kill him".

Matthews was visibly angered. Buchanan trying o defend McCain's campaign.

This was started by a clip of some TOTAL MORON woman at a McCain rally saying flat out, "He's an Arab." McCain tried to say the woman was wrong, but the crowd was booing ..... booing. Who were they booing? Obama? McCain himself, for saying this IDIOT WOMAN was wrong?

This IS getting dangerous. Add the financial mess, and this is a time when a wackadoodle can make history.

And fucking Palin ..... "He started his career in the living room of a domestic terrorist".

Meanwhile, even that lunkhead, Coleman, has pulled all his negative ads.

And some people don't like me cuz I use the word "fuck" too freely????????

1. Put her in jail . . .
Where it seems she belongs, and so much of it goes away. Good for McCain for trying to tamp it down, but it may be too late.

2. Sometimes an F-bomb is absolutely necessary
For instance, the Republican Party is dominated by a bunch of total, absolute and complete fuckwads.

16. As a guy who freely drops F-bombs, I've often noticed that those who complain the most ...
... almost NEVER complain about the REAL bombs our tax dollars pay for and our military now drops on wedding parties and other civilians.

Funny how *some people* have a strange sense of what constitutes an obscenity.

Taken out by an ultra-right wing group. May have been John Birchers.

5. Running for Pres. is a killing sport. I am sure Obama knows this
That he can keep his cool is just what we need. Just think of the mess that has been stuck into his face his whole life. I do think he is the face of the American of the coming years. The days of the WASP are gone and I think it is good it is gone. And I am a WASP.

11. Obama has set the tone for the entire election
Let McPOW keep up his nasty behavior. It's backfiring big time. Today he was trying to tone it down.

23. Obama is a man of class.
It is not money or name that makes class but some thing else and Obama has it.

6. The woman said "He is an Arab terrorist" - she actually said terrorist to McCain.
This week, McCain's campaign has essentially told Republicans to believe the viral smear campaign.

Seriously, if threads like that didn't get a lot of positivity, they'd just sink like stones. I'm just saying what a few others are thinking.

17. The most annoying part:
Finally we have a candidate who isn't tarred with the 60's brush.

I'm tired of baby killers, traitors, "heroes," swift boaters, terrorists, bullshit medical disqualifications, draft dodgers, the fucking SDS, purple heart winners, war protesters, student-deferment-getters, and POW's ON BOTH SIDES.

For the WWII generation, anyone who served served honorably, but for the Vietnam War, and everything remotely connected to it including the damn Weathermen... it's a national stink that I wish would go away.

It sounds harsh, but for someone who was born YEARS after the war ended I'm tired of it being a bullshit litmus test for every candidate for national office, and I'm tired of it being THE defining moment on a candidate's resume.

I feel strongly about this.

The Over-50 demographic needs to get over the 60s and 70s. If I hear another Boomer asshole lecture me about "America-hating McGovernites" I'm gonna scream

20. Nah - he just thinks he can play "presidential" while the wolf-killer incites
the daily two-minute hate (or more like the 24/7 hate). There's no conscience there - there's not even any there there. What a rancid stew-pot of leftover bones he is. A FUCKING rancid stewpot of leftover bones, for that matter.

You are too generous, my friend. But, better to be too generous than too little.
