Poll question: 9/14/01. The Bush Bullhorn Speech, Ground Zero. Assign a letter grade to post-Bullhorn Bush.

President Bush: Thank you all. I want you all to know -- it can't go any louder -- I want you all to know that American today, American today is on bended knee, in prayer for the people whose lives were lost here, for the workers who work here, for the families who mourn. The nation stands with the good people of New York City and New Jersey and Connecticut as we mourn the loss of thousands of our citizens...

Rescue Worker: I can't hear you!

President Bush: I can hear you! I can hear you! The rest of the world hears you! And the people -- and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!

Rescue Workers: (Chanting) U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!

President Bush: The nation -- The nation sends its love and compassion --

Rescue Worker: God bless America!

President Bush: -- to everybody who is here. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for makin' the nation proud, and may God bless America.

Rescue Workers: (Chanting) U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!

1. Bush: Beating the war drums while standing on the bodies of the victims of 9/11.
After three days of hiding, he staged a political rally while knee deep in the dead.

"Fuck you" isn't enough for what that man has done to us all.

3. I've always felt his single worst act was his betrayal of the "Bullhorn Moment"...
...because let's face it, the WORLD...with the exception of our 19 Saudi friends who flew the airliners and all of their associates who planned that "event"...really did STAND WITH US in post-9/11 America.

The WORLD had our back.

And Junior pissed it all away.

He had it right in the palm of his hand, and he was too stupid to recognize it. He "could have" risen from a useless frat boy to the greatest President of our times.

Instead, by his own conscious actions, he descended to the WORST. He's what, 1 or 2 points away from Nixon's LOWEST approval ratings?

And the sad fact is that no matter how paranoid or delusional or generally screwed up Richard M. Nixon might have been, history has proven him to be the BETTER MAN.

:patriot:
