On the other hand, a freeper's imagination is a creepy thing.

The gun is a phallic (power) symbol, so this could be as easily interpreted as allowing Sarah to "take charge" without any actual violence being advocated.

The McCain-Palin ticket is going down in three weeks. Mrs. Palin, a documented drag on the ticket, should then return to Alaska and, like Dan Quayle before her, fade into obscurity. What is creepy is that the 20 percenters will keep alive the myth of the maverick hockey mom (as opposed to the reality of a statewide office holder who couldn't pass a high school civics exam) and push her for president in 2012.
