Pollster uses a trend algorithm and determines a states status based on the trend and confidence level.
RCP simply averages polls. If a state has a spread of 5 points or more then it is leaning. If the spread is 10 or more then it is strong.

Colorado (the state I have been obsessively watching as I am convinced it will go with the winner) was switched from "toss up" to "leaning Obama".
That puts their current count at 313 - 158.
