and you actually think illegal aliens who are worried all the time about being caught are going to risk everything for to vote knowing that their vote is will mean basically nothing. Get real!

2. Pay no attention to electronic voting machine fraud! Look over here at the "illegals"!
Okay, one thing steals millions of votes, the other is what?! :wtf: is what it is.

We have vote suppression, vote theft, vote-count fraud, and every other form of corruption to disenfranchise voters and prevent valid votes from being counted, and Lou Dobbs and the Republicans want to blather on about the non-existent problem of voters without fascist-approved identification casting a ballot.

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!

Hekate
:argh:

4. I would bet that 99.999999999% of "illegals" are trying too hard to be "invisible"

to be so bold as to show up and try to vote illegally.. They KNOW they are always under "suspicious glances" everywhere they go.. These people keep the lowest of low profiles..

This is the biggest red-herring the repubes drag out every 4 years,..

That said... I DO highly suspect that there ARE a shit-load of wealthy people who "winter" in warm climes, and who vote by absentee in the "cold place", and who also register and show up in thei "warm" place...and I am also pretty sure that no one bothers them all that much..

3. Yeah, ok, sure, whatever Lou.
Yeah, "illegal" aliens will risk being exposed and deported just to cast a vote. :eyes:

6. The GOP always get all up ion arms over "voter fraud" when ...
... it doesn't happen as often as "election fraud."

Of course, they want everyone to believe their lies.

7. ya know... if I were in a country illegally, and just trying to make a living
the LAST place in the world I want to be would be a place with a bunch of government folk running around checking IDs.

The (lack of) logic in Dobbs' statement is mind boggling.

8. It Happens Every Election Around This Time...
This is especially the case when the GOOP is sensing they're about to lose elections. They can never blame themselves...so much easier to say how Democrats cheated. While some here can be guilty of wearing their tin-foil hats on a bit tightly when we discuss having elections stolen, the GOOP has long played this card in the closing weeks of an election to try to create a distraction and cover their tracks of other tactics.

Of course Lou Doobies has covered the voter caging of minorities, right? Didn't think so. How thousands are fighting right now to have their right to vote ensured. For example, the case the Montana GOOPers tried to pull in that state that disenfranchised thousands of voters there. Did Doobies bother to mention about the 100 year old nun whose residency was challenged? Didn't think so.

The bottom line about stealing elections from one who grew up with the Chicago machine. It works best when its hidden and localized...not systemic. That's too hard. You need to pinpoint a weakness in the counting system and exploit it...add a few votes here and there, not in massive amounts that's sure to draw red flags from the many pollwatchers and counters. It's not hacking every machine, but a few that go undetected...and in crucial precincts that can fudge the numbers. It works even better with a voter suppression effort that drives down the number of your opponent's voters. Again, it's has to be planned properly for it to work effectively.
