Are Minorities not allowed at McCain/Palin Rallies ?
it seems that way to me. not that any would want to go as based on what i see every single one of those there is yelling out something racist or anything else offensive to minority groups.

maybe that's why McCain's adopted daughter does not attend most of the campaign events.

these people don't even try to hide their true feelings . they are open and proud of it.

these aren't "joe six pack" types as joe six pack probably wouldn't even attend a political rally. they are racist and they are trash.

1. I've often wondered how his daughter feels
Edited on Tue Oct-14-08 05:59 AM by Solly Mack
when her daddy's supporters are expressing their self-worth (Who am I better than today?)

How can you claim to love a child when you encourage such hate...hate that would also encompass the child for being, as Palin puts it, "not like us"

8. And we know that 'not like us' is code word for 'not white'.
Despicable.

14. Exactly
Does the young woman tell herself that it's all "just politics"? Do they tell her it's "just politics?" (and how sick is that?)

2. They are, but it seems the only ones going now are paid shills for the campaign
like James T. Harris.

3. His base is no doubt KKK wannabe types, the same people...
Rove used to destroy him in 2000 by asking how the voters would feel if he had a "black child." Now he's pandering to the same crowd who attacked him and his child in 2000, not to mention selecting one of them to be his VP.

There was one black "plant" in Wisconsin, I believe it was (a local radio DJ), and I noticed a black Secret Service guy. Wonder how he feels?

4. Note How They Squeal When We Call Them On It...
Damn straight it's racism...it's called the "Southern Strategy"...a deliberate 40 year campaign to demonize minorities...especially blacks except for those who submit to the party's mantra of white christian male superiority. Look at how many black repugnicans there are in the House and Senate (crickets)...or even Latinos or the type of women who have advanced within the party (Palin, Michelle Bachman, Katherine Harris)...and it doesn't take much to figure how discriminating and full of hatred and intolerance the GOOP is.

The only thing they find more "offensive" is if you call it class warfare (which it also is)...cause when you take off that mask it shows the hypocrisy within the GOOP ranks itself where millions are brainwashed into voting against their interests purely based on hate and misinformation fed them by their handlers.

There's a big reason 90% of the blacks vote Democratic and we could see upwards of 70% or more of the Hispanic vote this year. Let the GOOP play "America firsters"...they'll alienate a larger and larger portion of the population.

5. if you were a minority, would you want to enter that maelstrom of hate?
Don't forget an african american news cameraman had racial epithets (the "n" word) hurled at him and told by the crowd to "sit down, boy".

Neither do you see minorities attending KKK rallies, for their own protection, same thing.

Palin rallies are not even disguising the fact they are lynch mobs now.

7. Do minorities really want to go to McCain/Palin rallies given the atmosphere there?
I know I don't want to go to one just because it is a McCain/Palin rally.

15. Actually, last week one of the people who asked McCain to get tougher,
at one of the townhalls, was a black guy. He said McCain needs to bring up Rev. Wright and Ayers and all his associations. It surprised me too, but apparently some people really have the compartmentalization thing down to a science.

I wonder what would happen if that guy ran into the guy bringing an Obama monkey doll into the rally.
