FUCK George McGovern
He's now running ads against the Employee Free Choice Act.

My question is how much did the rethugs pay this washed up has-been reject to turn his back on unions?

1. Different strokes, I guess
I think he's kind of old and bony.

2. I will always have the greatest admiration for George McGovern
a truly thoughtful man. I don't know enough about the Employee Free Choice Act to have an opinion, but I won't slag off McGovern even if I disagree with him.

I think your comments say a lot more about you than McGovern.

3. I wouldn't call him thoughtful
His entire argument that the EFCA 'eliminates' the secret ballot is false, it just offers an alternative. And the card check method alternative has worked fine in Canada, they have not slid into despotism because of the card check.

His entire argument sounds like it is based on a misunderstanding of EFCA.

4. has he always been anti-union?
I've been wondering because wehn he ran against Nixon in '72 that's the first time my dad, who was a Teamster, voted for anyone other than a Democrat.

6. That ad is embarrassing.
Apparently he was at Ludlow this summer. Running this ad spits on all who died at Ludlow. I am disgusted.
