I hope Obama discusses the voting PROCESS...

in his primetime address on October 29th.

Address concerns voters have about the process and how it is important to be vigilant as citizens to keep integrity in the process, and how there is much work to be done under his administration to clean up and streamline what has become (like most things in the system) a rather corrupt process and system.

He could, in his most effective way, put certain factions "on notice" and shed light on the lies and distortions without taking up too much time on this subject. But a well-placed, hard-hitting sentence or two could work wonders.

1. We tried to do a bit of this with our

NATIONAL GUARANTEE YOUR VOTE DAY...on October 1st we asked everybody to go online, call or check in person with their state or local elections officials to make sure that they are registered to vote and in turn text, blog, email or phone all those in their groups/circle with the same request. We generated over 4 million initial emails, 1,600,000 newspaper readership, 103 blogs and endorsements or participation by 108 congregations in 46 different states. We will make this a yearly event.
