Can someone tell me why?
Why is it NOW we need to cut taxes for the rich so they can afford to hire and pay people when the last 8 years we've given them tax cuts to see the unemployment rate rise?

1. The only way for the RW to solve a problem is tax cuts.

2. It really boils me when I hear RWers
say Obama's tax policy wil hurt business owners and they won't be able to hire people when the current tax policy has lead to job losses.

3. GOP is the Greed and Oil Party....
imho..I think it comes down to the death of Reagonomics. You give a working man $100 and he buys a new tire for his car. You give a millionaire $100, he speculates with the money.. hell, he already owns a Caddy a Mercedes and a Jaguar. Nothing 'trickles down' from the top except poverty and lack. Supply7 side has been a known failure for 30 years yet the corp/gov media (as always) shills for the Neocons.

7. Nope-- because it just ain't true...
Republicans just won't stop complaining that taxes are killing them, and the real problem is that the rich don't have enough money while the poor have too much.

And it works-- people actually believe that bullshit.

8. Why do people buy into this faulty plan? "reagonomics"
One economist (can't remember name) said that the reason main street buys into this crapola is that they think if they kiss ass long enough, they too will be able to get some of this trickle down largess as a few crumbs fall off the table. What they learned over the last 8 years though, is that Republicans are experts at being cheap and greedy. Nothing is trickleing down.. it's only going "up" the food chain into corp/gov's pockets while all social programs get slashed. No longer do the NASCAR dads want to have a beer with Bush.
