Seeing her in all these news reports and interviews revealing how intellectually barren she is just astonishing.

I mean, I know she's a predatory sociopath with no conscience or scruples and it shows in the reality and bubble she lives in... and she started in a small town and was rewarded and plucked out of obscurity to serve as a puppet... and without the wealth of a family like the Bushes.

It just blows me away how someone who has nothing going for her but her skills as a predator can go so far but I guess it happens all the time right?

Back in 1996, when Palin first ran for public office, the Republican Machine quickly jumped right behind her. Why? Because they saw a blank slate onto which they could paint the Conservative Ideal, with New 21st Century Features: opinionated, attractive young female, proud of her ignorance. Her competitors for the mayoral race in Wasilla were completely blown away by the full force of the Republican Machine barreling into their mayoral race which they had previously described as a "friendly competition."

That same Republican Machine has been grooming Palin and "helping" with her decision-making throughout her political career.
