That was what McCain did tonight. He hit, and hit, and hit, and really just wound up wearing himself out against what seemed to be a force of nature. By the end of the debate his posture had changed, he was stumbling and bumbling his way through his lines, rolling his eyes, breathing and sighing, and all for nothing.
All of the networks instant polling, including FAUX, indicated that Obama won the debate (although FAUX wouldn't release the actual numbers). Barring some horrific event, this is likely Obama's time.
