Joss Stone - "Governmentalist"



HeadCount is proud to present a free download of Joss Stone's new song "Governmentalist." Stone wrote this song after she spoke out about the treatment of Iraq War veterans, and was then criticized by a U.K. goverment official just for speaking her mind. The song captures the passions of the young generation and its desire to hold leaders accountable.

Stone, who is 21 years old, has sold nearly 10 million albums worldwide. She will perform "Governmentalist" and other favorites at HeadCount's "Get out the Vote Party" in New York City on Monday, November 3rd. Also appearing will be Robert Randolph, ?uestlove and Stanton Moore, plus many special guests. Tickets and Info.

It is so nice to hear a young singer come along that just sounds fantastic without the aid of autotune and all that other "studio magic" they have to use on a lot of them these days. A real breath of fresh air.
