I would never steal or vandalize Republican bumper stickers or yard signs, but....
I did leave a note on someone's windshield this weekend while I was out grocery shopping.

I'm in an oddly purple area of SoCal, sandwiched in between thoroughly blue LA and Santa Barbara. Anyway, on the way out to my car with my groceries, I see this new SUV (of course). So new, that it doesn't have real license plates yet.

Anyway, on the side of the SUV closest to me, there's a sticker in the window that says "None of the above". I found that a bit curious.

As I walked past with my cart, I noticed a sticker on the other side of the vehicle that said "Nobama '08".

That kinda got me going.

So, after putting my groceries in my car, I found a blank bit of paper and pen in my glovebox and proceeded to write a note.

It said: "Nobama '08? None of the above? You might think you're being cute or profound, but it's disengaged idiots like you who have brought our nation to the brink of ruin. Enjoy your SUV. How many troops have died so you can fill the tank? THINK!"

Was it wrong of me to do this?

1. I wouldn't have done it,...
...but I don't criticize you for doing it.

You expressed your opinion and you didn't disfigure or damage his car, so you were not wrong.

PEACE!

2. Wrong? Maybe a little insulting but I couldn't find better words personally.
Illegal? Not if you didn't damage personal property.

I doubt if you changed anyone's mind, but it should make them think for a couple seconds.

4. I don't blame you one bit
When I see a McCain/Palin yard sign I want to go knock on the front door and say, "Are you SERIOUS?! What the hell are you SMOKING?!"

7. It is not wrong to be an American. We have been leaving notes since before cars were invented.

8. No. You didn't deface the vehicle, or use curse words, or
anything. You just spoke (or wrote) your mind. Nothing wrong with that.

9. I saw a "NONE OF THE ABOVE" sticker on a Yukon this morning.
Other than a Clemson sticker, that was it. What does it mean?

10. Someone left a note on my car
in response to my "Republicans sell fear, are you buying?" sticker. Something to the effect of "What do dems sell besides big government, more taxes blah, blah, blah."

It just made me smile to think that I made them mad enough to find paper and pen and go to all that trouble. :-)

12. "big government" would be what the repugs have given us under george's regime.
It would be nice if just once, these morans would think for themselves. Just once.
