Her web blog.

Mellissa Etheridge coming up.

She used to do a local radio show 6-9 AM before Steph Miller.

94o AM Miami canned her without notice and replaced her with the Dead Man Talking - Slimus.

2. I like her a lot
It was disappointing when they canned her. The irony is that after she was cancelled my job blocked streaming from that station.

3. I wrote to the station WINZ 940 when they dropped Nicole.
I was outraged that they suddenly dropped her for Imus. They said I should listen and "give Imus a chance," and "he has good guests." I said that Imus is still the same obnoxious fool that he's been for thirty years, and the guest did OK with Nicole who was not an instant turn off.

Especially bad since WINZ has a liberal lineup which includes Hartmann, Randi, Steph, and Malloy.

Imus answers the question, "What would it be like if George W. Bush had a radio talk show?" His show is moronic.

Nicole Sandler

Until recently, Nicole had a WONDERFUL early morning show on 940 WINZ Miami, a Clear Channel affiliate.

Nicole was unceremoniously fired from the station in late August, 2008, after a successful year of hosting a crisp, witty and fact-filled morning show. Clear Channel quickly replaced her with DON IMUS. Needless to say, many listeners were, and still are, outraged at the silencing of her voice.

But, get this:

Nicole is live-hosting Thom Hartmann's show from the WINZ Miami studio right now, and WINZ is not airing it!! They're playing a Hartmann rerun. Disgusting.

If anyone is inclined to voice displeasure at this incredibly stupid move by WINZ, contact them at their web site.

Here is Nicole's web site, with blog and message board.

Let's show her some support.

Nicole is doing a great job subbing for Hartmann today. Here's another link to the show today. (No thanks to WINZ)

A DU shout-out to you, Nicole!
