Another Indiana vote for Obama. I voted early today.
Unfortunately, I was the only voter there. Early voting opened over a week ago, and the only place to vote is the Court House. Our court house has really tight security with wandering strings of shackled detainees in orange jumpsuits. It's not a happy place.

My vote was merely the 399th cast on my machine. Hopefully, turnout will pick up next week when the satellite voting centers open.

1. I'm going to go vote here in a minute in Indiana!
At the JJ dinner Wed. our chairman said 900 voters voted early last week! I think we only have 15-20,000 registered voters in the county. Many of my co-workers didn't even know anything about it and were going to go the next day after I informed them.

2. I worked the phones earlier this week trying to inspire voters to vote early.
It's all good.

3. I just got back and I voted!!!
One of my Republican friends' dad was there working the polls checking registrations. The girl in front of me was getting questioned. He was calling and checking her registration which evidently hadn't gone all the way through yet. I remembered her name because I've written every registration down that I turned in. She was one I helped register. They let her vote but I wonder what was up. She didn't know who I was but I'm going to call her and see what the problem was. Grrr. My friend's dad is a hard core right winger. He didn't know I had turned her registration for her.
