8. Seen on CNN's website last night: |
|
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/10/16/cnn-confirms-palin-to-appear-on-snl-this-saturday-night/I just can't see egomaniac narcissist Palin being willing to poke fun at herself. If they let her get away with trying to slam Tina Fey or spew her stump speech talking points, I'll lose ALL respect for SNL. Either way, it's guaranteed to be the most pathetic guest shot ever.

3. Let's See How They Play Her... |
|
Short of Palin coming out, playing a full Mozart Concerto, reciting the Gettysburg address flawlessly and painting Mona Lisa simultaneously, I can't see how her appearance will change the image strongly ingrained in people's heads..."bimbo" (my wife's words). Cute won't cut it and any stereotype she plays into will just dig her even deeper. She stands to look real stupid next to Tina Fey and she's coming on because she has to, not cause she wants to. I think that's gonna show.
Cheers...

4. At least, she'll have better writers. |
|
What a freakin' joke, though.
We get two interviews, a debate, and a bunch of race-baiting BS at her closley controled "rallies" and now she gets to play herself on TeeVee.
I think I've seen all I need to see. She's clearly ready to step up in an emergency and run the free world.
Oh wait, I mean Tina Fey is. I'm confused, which is witch?
When is Joe the Plumber scheduled to be on, BTW?

21. She wants to impersonate Tina Fey |
|
That should be interesting, not. I don't know if I can stand to watch it or not. Depends on how long she is on the screen. Then there is he thought that if no one watches, it will send a message...but just me not watching will not create big numbers. Dilemma!

10. I'm sure they'll be very seriously screened and told that very bad things will happen... |
|
if someone starts getting disruptive.
I think having a bunch of Secret Service guys will tend to keep the rather intimate studio audience in line.

at Palin rallies?
And, last I heard, freedom of speech was still a right in this country.

22. How many people are in a studio audiance? |
|
Maybe 200?
Of course people can boo. I'm just thinking the SNL people will very strongly discourage it, and in such an intimate setting, with secret service around, I'd be surprised. I could be wrong.

What kind of talent is this woman going to add to the lineup of SNL? She certainly isn't going to be funny. After all, we're all tired of her only one-liner about the hockey mom and lipstick!
The only thing that Palin has proven she can do well is wink!

19. I'm thinking it'll be a "To Tell the Truth" skit |
|
Sarah Palin, Tina Fey, and some other Palin look-alike will appear as contestants; four panelists will ask them questions; and then they'll vote, guessing who the real Sarah Palin is. The "host" will ask, "Will the real Sarah Palin please stand up"? Both Tina Fey and Sarah Palin will stand up simultaneously.
