Owning a weapon is fine and well within every American's rights. Understanding how to use it is of TANTAMOUNT importance. Accidents happen more often with folks who do not know how to use those weapons.
Close friends of my family had an accident in my youth...at fault was the father who never learned how to properly store a firearm.
