What does it say about the Republicans........ |
|
Edited on Wed Oct-22-08 09:32 AM by marmar
.... That the woman on their top ticket thinks it's better to risk a woman's health than DARE allow her to have an abortion in the case of rape or incest.
.... That their most prominent African-American member opted to go shoe-shopping rather than even pretend to be concerned about drowning African Americans in New Orleans.
.... That their top Asian-American pundit says that the internment of Asian-Americans during the WWII period was a wonderful thing.
.... That their gay elected officials would rather risk being caught having clandestine public sex rather than publicly acknowledging their sexual orientation and living honestly.
.... That their top Latino (former) official advocates torture against people with brown skin.
I was listening to a black Republican caller on CSPAN this morning (and he felt obligated to say that, even though it really was irrelevant to the topic) and it got me thinking about this whole issue. Women Republicans, African-American Republicans, Latino Republicans, Gay Republicans - I just don't get it!!!

in not getting it. It makes no sense. I mean, the GOP isn't suddenly going to adopt pro-gay, women or black policies. They talked with Muslim Republicans on one channel the other day. I can't understand a Republican Muslim, either. Really, there is no good reason for white men protestants being GOP, lol.
