John McCain has one more dirty trick in his bag.
What do you think it will be?

They would like to magnify this Ashley Todd story but the facts are still loose on that story.
However, Reverend Wright is still out there. But they will need to find a whole new spin on Reverend Wright. Something totally new and shocking! In my opinion, that is what they are looking for at this moment.

It will have to be something that no voter has heard about up 'til now. They are desperate and you can bet that they will use every card in the deck before this race is over. Eleven days can be a very long time in a campaign. Luckily, this time, the Democrats have the money to respond to any attack that might come in the next few days.

McCain's campaign has been pulling out tons of dirty tricks.
The problem is that none of them have stuck so far, so they pull out the next one. It's losing its effect because they look desperate. Of course, they are desperate now.

9. Goodness!
Where did you get that from what I posted? Project much?

I just said I wasn't worried about whatever the latest or last desperation move is that may or may not come out of the rapidly sinking McCain campaign. No sense paying interest on money you'll never borrow. I'm going to keep working hard, with a will and a purpose, sanguine that this time the results will be much more to my liking come November 4.

10. I rarely project, at all.
" Time for one more downfield heave in a 62-17 game" - that, to me, means Obama has already won and cannot be beaten. Only "time for one more heave downfield"? The score is "62-17"? And you are asking where I got that from what you posted? Do you read what you post?

"Oh noes" - that is the same as one of those "Thanks for your concern" memes and there is no call for that. I have said all along that I think Obama will win in a huge landslide victory, but I do not ridicule those who think differently. So, "goodness!", that's what I reacted to...

8. IMHO, there is only one way McCain can win
Even if they have plans to steal PA, VA, CO, OH, and/or FL, assuming those all are leaning our way, the "win" will not go uncontested. I don't think the Supreme Court would rule in favor of the GOP this time. If necessary, that is, assuming the case would follow the precedent set in 2000, they will overturn the judicial authority set in Bush v. Gore.

The only way McCain will win at this point is out of his hands. If there is any Al-Qaeda attack on US soil, or an attack on the level of 9/11 or the Bali bombings in Europe or Australia immediately before the election, McCain will win. If it were to happen now or in the next week, it would probably hurt him more than help him. But if it is in the last week before the election, there will be enough swing voters that have a knee-jerk reaction and vote for McCain.

Aside from that, McCain can throw whatever he wants out as chum but it won't work. If the electoral map doesn't turn his way in the next few days and the projected Senate seats for the Dems remains close to 60, I think the GOP PTB will have a chat with McCain and ask him to minimize the damage he does to other Republican candidates.

13. I think it's either one of two things:
1. They keep going on about Ayers even though polls show it's not working. There must be a reason. I think they believe they have, or are looking for, or will fabricate, some sort of "evidence" they're going to drop at the last minute. Because they keep harping on Obama supposedly not telling the whole truth to Americans about Ayers. (Personally, whatever they do on this front, I don't think it will make a difference.)

2. Some sort of foreign policy emergency to distract Americans and make them afraid enough to switch their vote back to him. (This will likely not work either, IMO.)
