2. I hope its 30 minutes of him shooting hoops with Iraqi War veterans
and recovering soldiers from Walter Reed.

They could do a split screen occasionally and show McCain blinking and hugging Bush.

Obama to go prime time as poll says debate boosts appeal

By David Jackson, USA TODAY

WASHINGTON — Democrat Barack Obama's campaign said Thursday he is planning a half-hour prime-time ad on network TV on Oct. 29 to promote his presidential bid.

Spokesman Bill Burton said the campaign has bought time on CBS and NBC, plus on Fox if it is not airing a World Series baseball game. He said the Democratic nominee, who has been outspending Republican rival John McCain on TV ads, is also talking to other networks about buying 30 minutes of prime time.

Burton would not comment on what Obama would discuss. McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds declined to outline his candidate's ad strategy, but joked Obama's move "officially marks the end of reality TV."

6. He's too nice to do it, but I wouldn't mind watching a 30 minute
low-light reel of "McCain and Palin - The Greatest Hits". Just show them contradicting themselves and each other, inciting angry people to scream death death threats, yammering and stammering while trying to find his way off stage, lying, blinking blankly at Katie Couric, etc. He could easily fill a 60 minute slot but 30 minutes could cover most of the really good stuff.

8. One thing I hope he talks about
is what to do if you are told you cannot vote. The time for intimidation of voters has to be over.

11. Yes, that's the way I see it.
By 10/29, almost everyone will have made up their mind. GOTV represents the final push.

10. A quick lesson on how the economy went to shit
and how we go about fixing it. Explore the problem of Iraq and Afghanistan. Talk to people, not down to them. A fireside chat, the way FDR did it. The realities and the way forward.
