What are we going to do if this election is stolen?
My first question is, how are we going to be sure it WAS stolen? At this point I can't see how Obama could legitimately loose but I confess to living in a bit of a 'bubble' (SF Bay Area). Every indication I see is that Obama will win -- BUT, we all know they are working to prevent this from happening. So that is my first question. If the machines tell us that McCain is the winner and the media reports it as fact -- what are our options? Ask them to PROVE it? They can't, so far as I can tell. THAT is the problem. Why should we consent to be governed by officials who can not be PROVEN to have been elected?

If the election is called for McCain, my personal intention is two fold:

One: I'm going to call in sick to work through Friday.

Two: I'm going to dress in my business suit and tie, make a sign that says "I voted Obama" and hit the street: The Federal building in downtown Oakland and/or the local TV news HQ and/or any other local demonstration that is organized through the weekend.

What are YOU going to do?

1. I'll see you in Oakland
I won't be wearing a business suit, though.

When I had hair. I miss it. :(

The body is old but the spirit is young! To HELL with these fascist rat bastards! We've put up with far too much for far too long. It is over!

3. I don't advise "riot" -- but a GENERAL STRIKE by everyone who voted Obama
I think could make some sense.

11. Nothing
Just like last time and the time before.

Sure we may scream and yell and protest, but no one will hear us because the media will be on to another story - The McCain Presidency.

I'm sorry - I'm just jaded.

But on a happy note, I really don't think they can steal this one. It is not close enough.

14. Not if protestors surround their news outlets . . .
Again, to be clear, I' do not advocate violence in any way. However, a loud and vocal crowd outside local news headquarters can't just be ignored -- not if there are enough people -- and there ought to be hundreds at least. MAKE the media cover it. MAKE them have to cross a picket line to get to or from work. FLOOD their switchboard with calls and SATURATE their email with outcries.

18. Step one: GENERAL STRIKE by all Obama voters.
"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." JFK, 1962.

13. I have a pile of bricks in my back yard
that I will move to the front.

I will dress as nicely as possible and go down to RNC headquarters with the sole purpose of being a pain in the ass.

I will firm up my plans to move. I still have enough left to do it.

16. I understand the thought of moving and I've been thinking about it myself
BUT, right now here is where I am: If they're going to take this country, they're going to have to take it by force. I'm not going to just LEAVE -- I'm going to stay here and be as big a pain in the ass as I can be. If they finally deny me my right to free speech and peaceful protest then I will be arrested and they will have to deal with it as much as I will.

I don't want to be arrested but I am willing to be if that is what it comes down to. Arrest, trial, the whole thing.

27. General strikes all across the nation is one of the few options that might make a difference.
It got FDR to move away from his initial anemic plans.

I don't think you need to worry about a President McCain though, nobody wants him in the White House after this campaign. It'll be Obama, but I think we're going to have to be very proactive to move him away from his doing what the people that matter are telling him to do.

"Strike!" "Strike!" "Strike!"

Your idea sounds sane for those who can't make it to Washington, D. C. to protest. I will find a street corner in my village to do the same.

i expect that if it happens this time around i might be a little bit more angry than the last two...but i have no idea as to how that might manifest itself just yet.

39. Why don't you make your point instead of implying something ambiguous?
I know one of two people are going to be declared winner of this election. I also know they are trying to steal it yet again.

I have no reason to suspect extraterrestrials are part of the equation -- unless the Bushistas are alien lizards wearing people suits, which they might as well be given their lack of humanity.
