Nebraska splits it's Electoral College votes. Omaha is a dead heat for our one vote.

Line long on last day to register to vote

Omahans and other Douglas County residents are lining up outside the office of the Douglas County Election Commission, 225 North 115th St., today -- the last day to register to vote for the upcoming Nov. 4 presidential election.

The line is long this afternoon for those registering to vote in Douglas County at 225 North 115th St.

County Election Commissioner Dave Phipps has said the office would allow anyone who's in line by the time the office is supposed to close — at 6 p.m. — to register.

"We just don’t know when we’ll be done," he said.

— Aaron Sanderford

1. I can only wish it was like that on the other side of Nebraska.
I really don't know as I haven't been in town today. I have not seen any mccain or Obama signs out. Just local election people.
