Obama Lead Drops to 5 Points By REUTERS

Democrat Barack Obama's lead over Republican rival John McCain has dropped to 5 points, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Sunday. Obama leads McCain by 49 percent to 44 percent among likely U.S. voters in the daily tracking poll, which has a margin of error of 2.9 points. Obama's lead has dropped over the last three days after hitting a high of 12 points on Thursday.

1. I can't believe that the NYT is carrying this trash
The first giveaway was that he leaked the ONE DAY polling data to drudge. To bad for Zogby and Drudge and the NYT but it's going to be a landslide for Barack Obama.

12. Yesterday Zogby had McCain leading among Jewish voters
no other poll has shown this. Also, Zogby is using the traditional 2004 model rather than the expaded model which takes into account the higher turnout/registration.

15. In the article, Zogby mentions "tax and spend" as a reason
voters are moving away from Democrats. I would really like to know the wording of the poll.

Damn that stupid, lying meme that just won't die! Obama has to drop the non-partisanship for portions of his speeches so he can compare the deficit movement under R-Presidents w/ those under the D's. And he has to point out that businesses will be more than compensated for small increases in taxes by an overall healthier economy that increases earnings, rather than saving a little in taxes and having their solvency threatened by losses in earnings. And he has to say it over and over, and put that "tax and spend" meme to bed for the duration.
