Sounds like the fix is already in
McCain guarantees victory

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he can “guarantee” a win on Nov. 4 in a squeaker victory that won’t be clear until late that night.

McCain spoke amid signs of a tightening race, and reports of renewed determination among his staff, which is badly outgunned in both money and manpower.

“I guarantee you that two weeks from now, you will see this has been a very close race, and I believe that I'm going to win it,” McCain told interim "Meet" moderator Tom Brokaw. “We're going to do well in this campaign, my friend. We're going to win it, and it's going to be tight, and we're going to be up late.”

2. Well really, what else could he possibly say?
"Looks terrible right now, Tom, and I've got to say there is no chance I'm going to win. All my supporters out there, don't even bother."

23. Do you think I'm trying to trick you with reverse psychology? Seriously now...
I'd just like to point out that you were given every opportunity to succeed. There was even going to be a party for you. A big party that all your friends were invited to. I invited your best friend the companion cube. Of course, he couldn't come because you murdered him. All your other friends couldn't come either because you don't have any other friends. Because of how unlikable you are. It says so here in your personnel file: Unlikable. Liked by no one. A bitter, unlikable loner whose passing shall not be mourned. 'Shall not be mourned.' That's exactly what it says. Very formal. Very official. It also says you were adopted. So that's funny, too.

13. If the fact that Obama outdraws you 50 to 1 at rallies
is any indication of the final tally Nov. 4, you'll be in bed at 9:30 gramps.

16. He may think the fix is in.
I cannot believe that Obama has left himself open to major vote thievery. This is a guy who prepares for contingencies. This is a guy who did mockup Ayers, Wright and Rezko ads, tested them on focus groups, and tested his responses to find effective rebuttals. Is there anybody on this board that wants to bet that neither Obama nor any of his close campaign advisers has given any thought to Florida 2000 or Ohio 2004? Are they the kind of people who would leave that big a barn door open?

18. This isn't the paper-slim Bewsh "selections" we're dealing with.
Theft is the only way he can win and he knows it.

Problem is, the deficit now, which has only increased in the past week, is beyond the bounds of a plausible alibi for such a heist. Our election process would officially be rendered an instant sham and the corporations would have no choice but to admit that this, indeed, is now a fascist nation meant to do the bidding FOR the corporations. Just like they wanted in the Business plot of 1933.

21. This is my concern.
These two are too smug and self-satisfied.....it's almost as though they're just going through the motions, acting out a part, and they don't seem to care about the opinion people have of them, as though it doesn't matter.

28. That's because, in McCain's case, he knows he has lost
and in Palin's case, she's too empty-headed to notice.

25. One man's "fix is in" is another man's "he's lost it..."
One man's "fix is in" is another man's "he's lost it..."

But then again, I'm of the opinion that McCain has lost it for quite some time now.
